This poem is for the people that care a lot.
They took me in and gave me all I’ve got.
They’ve showed me a different way to live.
And they’ve showed me how good it feels to give.
They’ve kept me off the streets and out of trouble.
And they help me through my problems no matter how difficult or simple.
When I leave them it’s going to make me sad.
Because I’m starting to think of them as my mom and dad.
